Wheeling 7 @ Atlantic City 6 (SO)
Brendon Hodge gave the Nailers a 1-0 lead in this game with a goal at 2:38 of the first period from Mark Kosick and Steve Crampton. Atlantic City scored twice in the first period, once on the power play, to take a 2-1 lead.
The Bullies increased their lead to 3-1 with a goal early in the second period. Cam Paddock scored a power play goal at 8:36 of the second period from Ray DiLauro and Chris MacKenzie to get the Nailers to with one goal at 3-2. Atlantic City went up 4-2 on a goal at 9:04. The Nailers answered with a Evgeny Lazarev goal at 15:20 from Ed McGrane and Curtiss Patrick.
The Bullies scored another power play goal to go up 5-3. James Laux ended the second period scoring at 19:58 with Kosick and Crampton assisting. McGrane and Crampton scored for the Nailers in the third period to give Wheeling a 6-5 lead. Atlantic City tied the game 6-6 at 14:12 to force the overtime and eventual shootout. The Nailers outscored the Bullies 4-2 in the shootout for the win. Joe Exter made 39 saves for his first win of the season.

SPIKE OF THE MONTH
The Spike of the Month for December is Barkely from Golden Endings Golden Retriever Rescue. Barkley is approximately eighteen months old, he was rescued from a local shelter, he's neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on his shots. He's a very bright and intelligent boy, he's currently in the process of being house-trained and obedience trained at Belmont County Correctional Institute.
