LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. - The Omaha Storm Chasers led twice Wednesday night, but lost the lead twice and fell to the Gwinnett Stripers 8-7 on Wednesday, the team's seventh walk-off loss of the season.

All nine Storm Chasers hitters reached base, with hits from eight different players and a trio of multi-hit games.

Back at the top of the order, Samad Taylor set the tone early with a single and two steals in the top of the first. While he was stranded in the first, he drove in a pair in the second inning on an RBI single scoring Adeiny Hechavarría and Angelo Castellano, just moments after Castellano doubled in Tyler Gentry.

While the Stripers got on the board in the bottom of the second, Omaha countered with a run in the top of the third on a solo homer from Logan Porter, his eighth long ball of the year and first in over 150 plate appearances.

After starter Brad Keller held the Stripers to a run over 2.0 innings with three strikeouts, Gwinnett took the lead in the fourth on a grand slam off Mike Mayers, as he allowed four straight to reach to begin his outing.

While Mayers faced the minimum of his next six batters and worked a scoreless fifth inning, Omaha jumped ahead again in the fifth and plated two more runs, on a double from John Rave that scored Taylor and a Nate Eaton sacrifice fly that plated Rave for the lead.

Castellano once again drove in a run with a double in the top of the sixth inning for a 7-5 lead at the time.

Anthony Veneziano worked a scoreless fifth inning, but surrendered runs on a sacrifice fly and bases loaded walk in the sixth to tie the game at 7-7.

The game remained tied at seven through the end of the ninth, as Will Klein, Evan Sisk and Brooks Kriske combined for Omaha retire 10 straight hitters.

The Storm chasers came close in the eighth inning to taking a lead, as they loaded the baes with one out but couldn't score, then were retired in order in the 10th inning, again unable to drive home the go-ahead run.

Kriske intentionally walked the first batter in the 10th to set up a double play, but a broken-bat single to left field won the game for the Stripers, an 8-7 final and Omaha's seventh walk-off lost of 16 road losses this season.

Taylor and Castellano each ended the night with 2 RBI and three hits, while Taylor stole four bases for the second time this season.

The Chasers will try and snap a four-game losing streak Thursday at 6:05 p.m. CT with right-hander Max Castillo headed to the mound.
