Brahmas Krischuk Named to CHL All Star Team
December 29, 2010 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
Texas Brahmas defenseman Jason Krischuk was named to the CHL All Star team today as the team ¬â¢s player in Rapid City on January 12th. It is Jason ¬â¢s first All Star game appearance as a Brahma and in the CHL.
The 5th year pro from Anchorage, Alaska played three full seasons in the ECHL before joining the Brahmas for the 2010-2011 campaign. This season Jason has played in 26 games for Texas registering four goals and 12 assists, a plus/minus of +8, and three power play goals.
Jason is the Brahmas lone member of the CHL All Star team. Each team will send at least one representative as the format pits the Rapid City Rush against the rest of the CHL top players.
Krischuk played his college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha before turning pro. He played briefly (four games) with Corpus Christi of the CHL in 2008-2009.
Friday (December 31) will feature a special New Years Eve tilt at 6:00 PM versus the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs. Champagne will be available immediately after the contest along with special party favors and drink specials for those who join us for one hour after the contest.
The final home contest this week will be Sunday, January 2nd versus the Colorado Eagles at 4:00 PM. This will be the Brahmas first Sunday afternoon contest for 2010-2011 and matches the two rivals who met in the CHL Finals two seasons ago.
To purchase tickets, please contact the Brahmas at (817) 336-4423 or go to for schedule and ticket information.
