Brahmas Drop Game Three

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (April 18) - The Brahmas were defeated by the final score of 3-0 by the Wichita Thunder in game three of their semi-final playoff series Thursday night at the NYTEX Sports Centre.

Wichita netminder Torrie Jung earned his second shutout of the postseason with 29 saves. The Nanaimo, British Columbia native improved to 7-0 in the 2013 playoffs.

Matt Robinson - who notched the eventual game-winner at 0:18 of the second period - got the Thunder on the board first. Les Reaney and Matt Summers - with an empty-net score at 17:42 of the third period - added goals for Wichita as well.

Brad Fogal made 22 saves on 24 shots in his first start in net for the Brahmas this postseason. Fogal fell to 0-2 in the playoffs.

Wichita went 1-for-5 on the power play, while the Brahmas were held scoreless on four opportunities with the man advantage.

With the loss, Fort Worth is now in a 3-0 hole in the best-of-seven series versus Wichita and needs to win the final four games to move on to the Central Hockey League finals. The two teams face off again Saturday, April 20 at the NYTEX Sports Centre for game four.
