Blues Recall Ian Cole

St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has recalled defenseman Ian Cole from the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Cole, 21, made his NHL debut this season in the Blues' 2-1 shootout victory over Boston on November 6. The 6'1, 221-pound defenseman has made 20 appearances with the Rivermen this season notching three points including a goal and two assists.
The Ann Arbor, Michigan native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 18th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Peoria will be on the road to face the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. and the Lake Erie Monsters on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. They return home on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. to face the Milwaukee Admirals at Carver Arena.
