Lightning Recall Harju from Admirals

TAMPA BAY, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, have recalled forward Johan Harju (har-YOO) from the Admirals, Lightning Vice President and General Manager Steve Yzerman announced today.
Harju, 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, has played in four games with the Lightning this season, registering two penalty minutes and three shots on goal while averaging 7:52 in ice time in the first NHL action of his career. He has appeared in 17 games with the Admirals, recording 13 goals and 23 points with a plus-7 rating. He leads Norfolk in goals and points while also tying for third in the AHL in goals. This is Harju's first season in North America.
Harju was named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 28, 2010. Harju scored six goals and notched one assist for seven points while posting a plus-5 rating in five games for the Admirals.
A native of Overtornea, Sweden, Harju played in 55 regular season games with the Moscow Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League last season, recording four goals and 18 points. He played two playoff games with Moscow, recording a goal and eight penalty minutes. He was selected by the Lightning in the sixth round, 167th overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
The Admirals will continue their season-long six game road trip tonight against Manchester at 7:00 p.m.
