Senators Re-Assign Defenceman David Hale to Binghamton

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 3, 2010) - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned defenceman David Hale to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .

After starting the season with Binghamton, Hale, 29, was recalled to Ottawa on Oct. 21. He has played 13 games with the Senators this season, recording one goal, one assist and six penalty minutes. In five AHL games with the B-Sens, he recorded one assist and seven penalty minutes.

Signed by Ottawa on Aug. 4, Hale, a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., skated in 39 games for the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2009-10, recording four assists and 25 penalty minutes. He also appeared in four contests for the Lightning's American Hockey League affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals, scoring once and adding an assist.
