Alex Krushelnyski Named ECHL All-Star

West Valley City, Utah - The ECHL announced today that Grizzlies rookie forward Alex Krushelnyski has been selected to the All-Star Team for the 2015 CCM / ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando.

The game will be played on Wednesday, January 21 in Florida.

Krushelnyski has eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 24 games with the Grizzlies this season and has been called-up to the Anaheim Ducks AHL affiliate in Norfolk twice appearing in three games. The last player signed by Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham before training camp is in his first pro season after playing four years at Colorado College where he was a WCHA Scholar Athlete.

The 24-year-old Krushelnyski was named runner-up for ECHL Player of the Week last week when he totaled two goals and six assists for eight points in four games. He had a seven game scoring streak with five goals and eight assists snapped on Wednesday against Alaska. Entering the week, Krushelnyski was one of five rookies in the ECHL to be averaging a point-per-game

The ECHL All-Star Fan Fest, presented by Walgreen's, with player appearances, interactive game, prizes, giveaways, auctions, memorabilia, and a special Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit, will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20. On Wednesday, Jan. 21, the day's events include the ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon and the 2015 CCM / ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando. Select ECHL Skills competitions will be held the same night and will be incorporated into the evening's events.

The Grizzlies are home Friday and Saturday when they will host Stockton at 7 p.m. each night. Saturday is Star Wars Night and fans are invited to come in costume.
