CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, owned by the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that C Connor Jones has been selected to the 2015 ECHL All-Star Team for the CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic on Wednesday Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. ET in Orlando, Fla. The game will feature a team of ECHL All-Stars pitted against the Orlando Solar Bears.
JONES - Currently in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Oklahoma City Barons, the Condors AHL affiliate. Bakersfield's leading scorer with 26 points (10g-16a) and a +3 plus/minus rating in 27 games with the Condors this season Registered seven multi-point games with the Condors, including matching a team-high with four points (1g-3a) on Nov. 22 in StocktonNotched two overtime game-winning goals for the Condors this seasonHas three points (2g-1a) in seven games with Oklahoma City Jones becomes the Condors 19th selection to the ECHL All-Star ClassicBakersfield hosted the ECHL All-Star Classic in 2011 and re-introduced the "Host v. ECHL" concept which has been adopted in the last two All-Star Classics.46 players who have played in the ECHL All-Star Classic since 2002 have gone on to play in the National Hockey League (NHL), including two Condors (Connor James, Timo Pielmeier)
