
Brenden Walker Named All-Star Alternate

DULUTH, Ga. - Gladiators forward Brenden Walker has been named as an alternate to the 2015 ECHL All-Star team, as announced by the ECHL on Thursday.
Walker, 22, has tallied seven goals and 13 assists through 26 games played this season. In his rookie year with the Gladiators last year, Walker led the team in goals with 22, and finished fifth on the team in scoring (31 pts). In all, the native of St. Anne, Manitoba has played in 82 games in the ECHL, all with the Gladiators.
The ECHL will host their All-Star Game festivities on January 20th and the 21st at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.
The ECHL All-Star Fan Fest, presented by Walgreen's, with player appearances, interactive game, prizes, giveaways, auctions, memorabilia, and a special Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit, will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
On Wednesday, Jan. 21, the day's events include the ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon and the 2015 CCM / ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Orlando. Select ECHL Skills competitions will be held the same night and will be incorporated into the evening's events.
Walker will next play in the Gladiators matchup with the South Carolina Stingrays at The Arena at Gwinnett Center at 7:05 p.m. tonight for Student Night.
