San Diego Legion and RFCLA Unite as the California Legion

July 30, 2025 - The San Diego Legion and Rugby Football Club Los Angeles (RFCLA) can confirm they have agreed in principle to strategically form a single, statewide professional rugby franchise: The California Legion. 450+ Young Athletes, 1 Epic Weekend at the Cal State Games

July 24, 2025 - This past weekend, San Diego Legion had the honor of co-hosting the Cal State Rugby Games alongside Sports San Diego- and what a weekend it was! Over 450 youth athletes across 39 teams competed in divisions from U10 to U16, showcasing the future of rugby in Southern California. June 17, 2025 - Dear Legion Family, As the 2025 season officially comes to a close, the San Diego Legion extends its heartfelt thanks to every person who walked with us this year - our fans, partners, players, coaches, staff, volunteers, and the broader rugby community.
