Wranglers Streak into November

Las Vegas, NV-The Las Vegas Wranglers extended their league-high five-game winning streak with three wins over the past week. The Wranglers defeated San Diego Tuesday night with a 3-2 overtime win. Friday night Las Vegas bounced Idaho 3-2. Saturday night the Wranglers concluded their week with a 5-4 win over the Fresno Falcons. The Wranglers will host the Florida Everblades Tuesday, the Alaska Aces on Wednesday, and the Bakersfield Condors on Friday concluding their eight-game home stand. Las Vegas heads to Long Beach on Saturday.

Las Vegas 3 vs. San Diego 2 OT

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the San Diego Gulls in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 overtime win. Justin Kelly scored the game-winning goal with just 2:54 passed in overtime. The Wranglers improved to 4-1-1 on the season winning their third straight game. Marc Magliarditi stopped 40 San Diego shots improving to 4-0-0 on the year. Kelly also added an assist in the win. Greg Day enjoyed a two-point night with two assists. Jeff Attard and Jason McBain also scored in the win.

Friday, October 31st

Las Vegas 3 vs. Idaho 2

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Idaho Steelheads 3-2 at the Orleans Arena on Friday night. Chris Kenady scored with 2:10 left on the clock snapping a 2-2 tie with a breakaway goal. Garrett Bembridge and Dave Cousineau each added goals in the win, as Las Vegas won for the fourth straight game. The win extended Las Vegas' win streak to four straight, keeping them unbeaten at home this season. Marc Magliarditi won his fifth straight game in net stopping 36 of 38 Idaho shots. Blair Allison took the loss for Idaho stopping 30 of 33 Las Vegas shots

Saturday, November 1st

Las Vegas 5 vs. Fresno 4

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Fresno Falcons 5-4 at the Orleans Arena on Saturday night in front of crowd of 5,716. Winger Garrett Bembridge scored twice leading the Wranglers to their fifth straight win. Forwards Cam Bristow and Chris Kenady each added a goal and an assist as Las Vegas remained unbeaten (5-0-0) at home this season. Goaltender Marc Magliarditi won his league-leading sixth game of the season, stopping 24 Fresno shots. Defenseman Riku Varjamo scored the other Wranglers goal.

Greg Day is tied for the league lead in scoring with Florida's Keith Anderson with 14 points. Day's 11 assists lead the ECHL. Goaltender Marc Magliarditi leads the ECHL with six wins. He is second with 194 saves. Right Wing Justin Kelly is tied for second in the league for scoring among rookies with 10 points (3G,7A). He has a point in eight straight games. Defenseman Dave Cousineau leads the ECHL with four power-play goals. Las Vegas' power play is ranked fourth in the league at 22.7 %.
