Bakersfield Condors News Release
Upcoming week of November 3rd - November 9th:
- Thursday, November 6th - The Condors Coach's Show can be heard on KGEO AM 1230 each and every Thursday, normally live from the Holiday Inn Select. With the team departing for Vegas on Thursday, the show will be pre-recorded and air at its regular time, from 6:00pm - 7:00pm
- Saturday, November 8th - Join the Condors as they host the Alaska Aces for KUZZ 107.9 Veterans Day Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle & Auction. The doors open at 6:00pm and the puck drops at 7:00pm as the Condors will honor America's Veterans by wearing special red, white and blue Veteran's Day jerseys. The game worn jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds going to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. All fans have a chance to win a jersey, as five will be raffled off during the game. Saturday is also the first of two Military Appreciation Nights this weekend. All military personnel will receive two for one admission by presenting their military ID. The night includes the return of USMC Corporal Joe Cannon singing the National Anthem. Tickets can be purchased at the Centennial Garden box office, open weekdays from 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturdays, with extended hours on event days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
- Sunday, November 9th - Join the Condors as they face their first East Coast opponent, the Florida Everblades at 5:00pm. The Spanish Radio Group & Rio Bravo Country Club present Pennant Giveaway Night, as the first 2,000 fans will receive a Condors pennant. The day gets started at 3:00pm outside of Centennial Garden on the plaza with the Pre-Game Fiesta, including bounce houses, a magician, a clown, and live music. The Garden doors open at 4:00pm. Sunday is also a 101.5 KGFM, Paramount Farms & ARRC Technology T.H.I.N.K Night. The Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge program allows students to earn terrace level seats to Sunday's game through exceptional performance. Also, all military personnel will receive two for one admission by presenting their military ID. Centennial Garden box office opens at noon on Sunday.
