BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads completed a three-game weekend road trip to Las Vegas (L2-3), San Diego (L3-6), and Long Beach (W5-1), and snapped a three-game losing streak Sunday night against the Ice Dogs. The team is back to a ..500 winning percentage, with a season record of 5-5 (home 3-2; away 2-3), and are second in their division in points with 10 and ranked fourth in their division in winning percentage. SIZZLING STEELHEAD: Jeff Bateman (assigned to Idaho by Utah-AAA on 10/23/03) has notched 5 points in the last two games, scoring 2 goals against San Diego, and 2 goals and 1 assist in the game against Long Beach. Jan Kopecky has recorded 5 points in the last 4 games (2G, 3A). Darrell Hay has tallied an assist in each of the last 3 games. Scott Burt has scored 3 points in the last 2 games (1G, 2A), as has Jeremy Mylymok (3A).
IN THE NET: Goaltender Dan Ellis' record is 2-4, allowing 23 goals and making 153 stops. He is 2-0 in shootout wins and best in the league, allowing only one 1 goal in 9 attempts. Ellis has posted a 3.75 average and a save percentage of .869. Goaltender Blair Allison is 3-1-0, allowing only 6 goals in 91 attempts.
