The Wolf Pack had a difficult week, going 0-3-0-1 in a four-games-in-five-days stretch. The Pack had the lead in all four games but were unable to hold on, falling 7-4 at home to Portland Wednesday, 6-5 in Binghamton Friday, 5-4 in a shootout Saturday at Lowell and 5-4 to the league-leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins yesterday at the Hartford Civic Center. Jarkko Immonen (3-3-6), Chad Wiseman (2-3-5) and Alexandre Giroux (2-2-4) were the top offensive performers for the Wolf Pack during the week, and Giroux is on a team season-high six-game point-scoring streak (4-2-6).
This week:
The Wolf Pack host a GEICO Connecticut Cup game vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Friday night (7:00) at the Hartford Civic Center on Guida's Family Value Night. Then, the Pack visit the Portland Pirates for a 4:05 contest on Sunday.
Tuesday, November 8 - "Wolf Pack Confidential" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN Radio 1410 The Wolf Pack's weekly hourlong live radio show originates live from Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Scheduled to join host Bob Crawford this week are Joe Rullier and Alexandre Giroux. They will be taking questions from the live audience at Little Mark's (all are invited), and the show can be heard on ESPN Radio 1410 and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com.
Friday, November 18 vs. Bridgeport at the Hartford Civic Center, 7:00 p.m. * The Wolf Pack won the first game of the GEICO Connecticut Cup challenge vs. the Sound Tigers, 3-2 at home October 29th, behind a franchise-record 51 saves by Al Montoya. * After going 2-6-1 in their first nine games, the Sound Tigers have won five in a row to jump up to third place in the East Division. * Bridgeport's leading scorer is Rob Collins (6-12-18 in 14 GP), who is tied for eighth in the AHL in points. * It's Guida's Family Value Night at the Civic Center. Sunday, November 20 at Portland (Cumberland County Civic Center), 4:05 p.m. * The Pirates and Head Coach Kevin Dineen defeated the Wolf Pack Wednesday night in Hartford by a score of 7-4 in the first meeting of the season between the two teams. * Despite a 6-0 home loss to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Saturday in their last outing, the Pirates (10-4-0-0, 20 pts.) lead the Atlantic Division by a margin of three points over the Wolf Pack and Manchester. * Dustin Penner, who exploded for four goals and an assist in Wednesday's game against the Pack, leads the Pirates in goals and points with 9-8-17 and a +10 in 13 games. * Broadcast - live with Bob Crawford on the web at: www.hartfordwolfpack.com or watch on B2 Network! Pack Tracks:
The Wolf Pack and the Connecticut State Police conducted a food drive at yesterday's home game vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The drive raised over $1,900 and 330 pounds of food for Foodshare of Greater Hartford. For every dollar raised, Foodshare can provide $10 worth of food to needy families and individuals.
The Wolf Pack's next Ken Gernander tribute night is coming up Saturday, November 26th. The Providence Bruins visit the Hartford Civic Center that evening, and the first 5,000 fans receive their own Ken Gernander bobblehead.
On January 6th the Wolf Pack will honor Ron Francis, Kevin Dineen and Pack assistant coach Ulf Samuelsson in a ceremony to celebrate their careers and the significant impact and influence that all three individuals had upon the sport of hockey in Hartford. ALL are scheduled to appear in the pre-game festivity. The Pack go up against Dineen's Portland Pirates that night in a 7:00 game.

The Hartford Wolf Pack "Pack Shop", located at 100 Allyn Street is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as two hours prior to and one hour after each and every Wolf Pack home game, including Saturday and Sundays. A full line of Wolf Pack merchandise is available, while a limited selection of items will still be available in the Civic Center Mall before games.
