Canucks reassign Green, Nathan Smith to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have re-assigned both forwards Josh Green and Nathan Smith to the Manitoba Moose.

So far this season, Green, 28, has played in four games with Vancouver during three separate recalls. This year with the Moose, the Camrose, AB native is currently tied for the Moose lead in scoring through 10 games played with five goals and seven assists for 12 points. He also has eight penalty minutes.

Smith, 23, did not play in Vancouver's game versus the Detroit Red Wings on Nov. 13/05. It was the second recall of his career. Back in 2003-04, the Strathcona, AB native played in two games with Vancouver. This year with the Moose, Smith has appeared in all 15 games, scoring four goals and three assists for seven points and a team-leading 57 penalty minutes.
