Sunday, November 13, RIVERMEN 4 @ Iowa 3 (Suspended): This game between the Peoria Rivermen and the Iowa Stars was suspended after two periods of play due to unsafe ice conditions at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. American Hockey League officials have decreed that the game will be completed the next time the Rivermen are scheduled to play at Iowa, on Saturday, December 3. Through two periods of play in the game, the Rivermen hold a 4-3 advantage. Peoria quickly grabbed the lead just 36 seconds into the match on winger D. J. King's first goal of the season. Left wing Charles Linglet then tallied a power-play goal at 5:40, and right wing Brendan Brooks struck at the 10:04 mark to stake the Rivermen to a 3-0 lead. A power-play goal by Iowa's B. J. Crombeen made the score 3-1 for Peoria after one period. Just before the third period was to begin, the ice surface at Wells Fargo Arena was determined to be unplayable, and the game was suspended.
