Iowa Chops News Release
DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Stars, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, Wells Fargo Arena, and the Peoria Rivermen, today have announced that the game postponed on November 13th will resume prior to the scheduled December 3rd game against Peoria.
"It's unfortunate that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to complete our game on Sunday. However, working along with the AHL, the Rivermen and Global Spectrum we were able to make arrangements for us to pick-up the end of the game and play it to its conclusion on December 3rd," said Iowa Stars President John Pettit. "We regret any inconveniences this may have caused our fans and we hope that all of our fans will join us for the conclusion of this game on December 3rd or for any other regular season home game."
Prior to the regularly scheduled December 3rd meeting, the Stars and Rivermen will play the third period of the Nov. 13th game beginning at 7:05 PM. The two teams will then take an 18-minute intermission and then play the December 3rd contest following the 18-minute interlude.
