Sat., Nov. 12 (at) Rochester 4, Chicago 2
--Despite a third-period comeback attempt, the Wolves fell to the Rochester Americans, 4-2, at the Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial
--Forwards SCOTT BARNEY and BRIAN MALONEY each scored for Chicago
--Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT recorded 29 saves on 33 shots

Fri., Nov. 11 (at) Syracuse 5, Chicago 1
--The Wolves fell behind, 2-0, in the first period and never recovered, losing to the Syracuse Crunch, 5-1, at the War Memorial at Oncenter
--Defenseman BRAYDON COBURN tallied Chicago's lone goal while forwards JARED ROSS and KARL STEWART recorded assists
--Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT posted 25 saves on 29 shots

WOLVES TO WATCH

JARED ROSS: Paces the Wolves with seven assists in eight games ... Notched a point in seven of his eight contests this year - his rookie season - which includes collecting assists in each of his last two outings ... Ranks fourth on the team with eight points and shares second with a +5 plus/minus rating

SCOTT BARNEY: Leads the squad with eight goals, four power-play tallies and 12 points in 11 games ... Registered at least one point in six of his last seven appearances, which includes a goal last Saturday ... Held scoreless in a three-game NHL stint with the Atlanta Thrashers from Oct. 31 - Nov. 7

BRIAN MALONEY: Ranks second on the Wolves with six goals and third with nine points in 12 contests after recording just two goals and three points through the first 12 matchups last season ... Paces the squad with 54 penalty minutes after finishing fourth on the team last year with a career-high 164 PIMs in 77 games ... Posted seven points (5G, 2A) in his last seven games after accruing just two (G, A) in his previous five

RAMZI ABID: Notched an assist on Saturday after being held off the scoresheet in his previous two contests, the only time he's been held without a point in back-to-back games this season ... Ranks second on Chicago with 11 points and 38 penalty minutes, shares second with six assists and holds third with five goals in 12 outings

BRAYDON COBURN: Registered four points (2G, 2A) in five games with the Wolves ... Accrued one assist and four penalty minutes in nine games with Atlanta during his NHL debut ... Collected one assist in three regular-season games with Chicago last year during his pro debut

MARK POPOVIC: Posted an assist on Saturday, his first point in four games ... Ranks second among team blueliners and sixth overall with six points in 11 matchups ... Ranks fourth on the squad with five assists

WOLF TRACKS
--The Wolves are currently on a five-game losing streak, the first time the team has lost more than four straight since a six-game losing streak from Oct. 23 to Nov. 2, 2002.
--Chicago surrendered three power-play goals on Saturday, the fourth time the team has allowed three or more man-advantage markers in a game and the second time in three contests.
--The Wolves have allowed 25 goals in the last five games after surrendering 10 in the previous five.
--Chicago has been held to just one power-play goal in its last four matchups after collecting six man-advantage tallies in its previous four.

CH-CH-CHANGES

The Wolves have experienced 39 transactions since the first day of October after undergoing just 16 during that span last year and 14 the previous season, the last time the NHL played.

NOTABLE

Wolves forward COLIN STUART and defenseman BRIAN SIPOTZ will visit the Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago on Tue., Nov. 15th. They will appear as special guests on a hospital bingo show that is aired on a closed circuit throughout the hospital, visit patients, sign autographs and hand out goody bags.
