Canadiens recall Danis

Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that the team has recalled goaltender Yann Danis from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Danis, 24, played three games for the Bulldogs, posting three wins, with a 1.34 goals-against average and a 0.958 save percentage. In three games with Montreal this season, the native of Lafontaine, Quebec, has earned a record of 2-0-0-0, with a 1.50 goals-against average, and a .946 save percentage.

The Bulldogs next game will take place Wednesday, November 16, when they travel to Milwaukee to face the Admirals. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
