Wolf Pack blank Hershey 4-0 in Hartford

The BEARS conclude a four-game road trip with a 4-0 loss at Hartford against the Wolf Pack.

The two teams battled to a scoreless draw after the first 20 minutes, with HERSHEY firing 17 shots on Hartford goaltender Al Montoya. The Wolf Pack were able to break into the scoring column early in the second period when Alexandre Giroux potted his 15th of the season from Jarkko Immonen and goaltender Montoya at 1:50. In the third period, Nigel Dawes scored a pair of goals while the Pack also scored a disputed goal by Dwight Helminen at 9:18 of the third. Montoya's shutout was his first of the season.

The BEARS return home Saturday to face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Face-off at GIANT Center is at 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, HERSHEY will host the Norfolk Admirals at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
