Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010 vs. Houston Aeros
Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).
Hockey Night: Wednesday is Hockey Night! Through a new partnership between the Griffins, the Downtown Development Authority, the Arena District and several sponsors, fans attending any Wednesday game this season can show their tickets to receive drink specials and 20% off food at participating Arena District restaurants and bars, both before and after the game. Winning Wednesday: All fans who were in attendance for the Griffins' 3-2 over the Milwaukee Admirals on Dec. 8 can redeem their ticket stubs for free tickets to this game. Furthermore, if the Griffins beat the Houston Aeros, each fan in attendance can redeem their ticket stub for a free ticket to the Griffins game on Wednesday, Dec. 22 against Toronto. If the Griffins win, the box office will be open following the game for redemptions. Fans may also redeem their stubs at The Zone during business hours (M-F 10-6; Sat. 10-2) and at the box office the night of Dec. 15.
Inaugural MeNU Leadership Seminar: Northwood University's DeVos Graduate School of Management, in partnership with the Griffins, are proud to offer the DeVos Leadership MeNU. This dynamic three-part leadership series will be facilitated by faculty and administrators from Northwood University's renowned DeVos Graduate School of Management prior to select Griffins games. The series will focus on the skills and qualities needed to enhance one's leadership capabilities in their organization. This game's first installment of the series will feature Sales Leadership: "Satisfying Customers." The seminar runs from 5:30-6:30 and costs just $10, with a ticket to the game included.
Library Night: Fans who present their Grand Rapids Public Library card or Kent District Library card at the Van Andel Arena box office on the day of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours (M-F 10-6; Sat. 10-2) can purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 - a savings of $7! Limit four tickets per card per person.
Post-Game Party: Join us at Peppino's downtown after the game to meet Griffins players and coaches and enjoy $2 drafts and a special Griffins buffet.
Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 vs. Peoria Rivermen
Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).
Dollar Beers, Dollar Dogs: The ever-popular promotion runs from 6-8 p.m., when fans can enjoy $1 domestic drafts and $1 hot dogs while supplies last.
College Night: Presented by Chemical Bank, college students can show their ID to purchase a lower bowl ticket for $12 (or $10 in advance at The Zone) and stop by the McFadden's concourse table to receive a free pass to the post-game party at McFadden's.
Get in the D-ZONE: Every Friday night is a Griffins GRD-Zone Friday night. Avoid the concession lines and get your $1 beers and $1 hot dogs served to you in your seats! Single-game ticket prices are $5 (Sunday-Thursday games only, advance purchase at The Zone), $13, $15 and $17 in the arena's upper level, and $17, $20, $25 and $30 in the lower level.
