
Worcester Sharks Announce Dates of Four High School Hockey Doubleheaders at DCU Center

WORCESTER, MA - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today the dates for the four High School Hockey doubleheaders at the DCU Center this season.
Eight local high school varsity boy's hockey teams will skate on the DCU Center Ice on the same day as a Worcester Sharks game. Tickets cost just $11 in advance for each participating school, with one ticket to garner entry into the high school game and the Sharks game.
The four high school hockey doubleheaders are listed below;
The 2nd annual High School Hockey Showdown will feature the Shrewsbury Colonials vs. the Algonquin Tomahawks on Sunday, January 9 after the Sharks game vs. the Falcons at 3:00pm.
The 3rd annual High School Hockey Clash between the Hudson Hawks and the Marlboro Panthers will take place on Saturday, January 22 before the Sharks host the Sound Tigers at 7pm.
The 1st annual High School Hockey Faceoff will include the Auburn Rockets and the Wachusett Mountaineers on Saturday, January 29 before the Sharks host the Bruins.
The 5th annual High School Hockey Classic will showcase the St. John's Pioneers and the St. Peter Marian Guardians on Saturday, February 5 before the Sharks host the Bruins at 7pm.
"The Worcester Sharks are proud to showcase high school hockey at the DCU Center," said Mudd. "The high school games will have all the bells and whistles of a regular Sharks game. We expect large turnouts for all four games and look forward to some great high school hockey action."

On Friday, the Sharks travel to Manchester for a 7pm date with the Monarchs.
On Saturday, Worcester will make their first trip to Albany for a 7pm affair with the Devils.
On Sunday, the Sharks host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 3pm! Bring your skates and helmets and stick around after the game and skate with the Sharks for the annual Hat & Mittens Holiday Skate presented by Bay State Savings Bank! Enjoy free hot chocolate from SAVOR catering, free cookies from Eric's La Patisserie of Worcester, and enjoy festive holiday music while skating with the Sharks!
