Kings Recall Moller

LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled forward Oscar Moller from the Monarchs, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

Moller, 21, has recorded 17 points (6-1117), 10 penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating in 19 games with the Monarchs this season, while serving as a club alternate captain. His 17 points are third on Manchester and his 11 assists are tied for third on the club.

The 5-foot-10, 189-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden split last season with the Kings and Monarchs. In 34 games with the Kings he had seven points (4-37) and four penalty minutes. In 43 games with Manchester he recorded 33 points (15-1833) and 20 penalty minutes. Moller also had seven points (2-57) in 16 playoff games with Manchester, helping the Monarchs reach the AHL's Eastern Conference Finals.

Moller has appeared in 74 career NHL games (all with the Kings) and has 22 points (11-1122) and 20 penalty minutes. He was originally selected by the Kings in the second round (52nd overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He will wear No. 9.
