Capitals Recall Brian Fahey from Hershey

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman Brian Fahey from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League (AHL), vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.
Fahey, 29, has played five games for the Capitals this season, recording one assist and two penalty minutes. The 6'1", 215-pound native of Des Plaines, Ill., has recorded 10 points (2 goals, 8 assists) in 18 games for the Bears this season.
Fahey, who made his NHL debut on Oct. 16 at Nashville and wears No. 44 for the Capitals, was signed as a free agent July 7, 2010.
