Let's Play Two: Today marks Nashville's 3rd doubleheader of the season already. The first was at home on April 21 against San Antonio. Nashville won game one, 3-1, before dropping game two, 6-0. The team's second twin bill was on April 28 in Des Moines and came with the same results. The Sounds won game one, 7-3, before dropping game two, 19-5.
Davidson is Goliath: Matt Davidson hit his 11th home run of the season Friday night, a solo home run off left-hander Tommy Layne. It was Davidson's 7th home home run in his last 10 games. In that span (since April 24), he is tied for the Pacific Coast League in home runs with Albuquerque's Pat Valaika. Davidson's home run also kept Nashville's home run streak, who have now hit at least one home run in the last 10 games.
