Utah's Kinasewich ECHL Player Of Month

Anchorage, Alaska - The ECHL announced today that Utah Grizzlies forward Ryan Kinasewich is the CCM TACKS ECHL Player of the Month for February.

As Utah went 10-2-2 in February, pulling into third-place in the ECHL's West Division, Kinasewich had 10 goals and 16 assists. The 22-year-old had ten multiple-point games during the month and finished February with an eight-game scoring streak.

He currently leads active ECHL players with 30 goals scored and is third among active players with 68 points. Kinasewich joined the Grizzlies on November 18 after not playing for nearly the first month of the season. The 22-year-old leads the Grizzlies with 23 multiple-point games in 47 games played overall.

Saturday in San Diego, the second-year pro set an all-time Utah Grizzlies record recording 13 shots on net. On the season, he has two hat tricks and three games of four points scored.

15 of his 30 goals this season have been scored in the first period and the Grizzlies are 18-4-2 when the left wing records a goal.

Yesterday, Utah's Garett Cameron was named the ECHL's HOK Sport Plus Performer of the Month, as he finished February with a plus-minus rating of +14.

Utah plays game eight of their nine-game road trip tonight in Anchorage. Face-off is scheduled for 9:15 p.m. The team returns to the E-Center for a four-game home stand Wednesday, March 15 hosting Alaska.
