Storm tally six goals in third period for victory

TOLEDO, OH - The Trenton Titans did not have an answer for the Toledo Storm's power play in an 8-2 loss in front of 3,533 at Toledo Sports Arena.

The Storm finished 5-for-10 on the man-advantage and put up six goals in the third period to turn a 2-1 lead after two periods into a runaway victory.

Matt Zultek broke the scoreless tie against his former team with a power play goal at 17:51 of the first period.

The Storm were able to make 2-0 in the second FRAME with another power play tally by Todd Jackson, but Scott Selig also used the man-advantage to cut Toledo's lead back down to one putting in his on rebound with just fifty-three seconds left until the intermission.

Toledo stormed out of the gate in the third period scoring three goals - two on the power play - in a span of 2:18 to break the game wide open.

Dave McCulloch picked up his first goal in a Titans' uniform beating Drew MacIntyre with a wrist shot at 13:45 of the third period.

Dustin Traylen stopped 43 of 51 shots as his record goes to 12-7-0.

Trenton finished 2-for-6 on the power play.
