January 8, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL)
Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The ECHL announced today that Bakersfield Condors D Kevin Truelson has been named a starter in the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game. He will replace D Bryan Miller from the Alaska Aces, who suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in December.
Truelson, 25, currently ranks sixth in the ECHL and leads all Condors blueliners with 22 points. His seven goals are second among defensemen in the ECHL. It is the second time Truelson has been selected to participate in the ECHL All-Star Game, representing Fresno during his rookie season in 2004.
The Condors also have added RW Jason Kostadine to the roster, and he will play tonight against the Phoenix RoadRunners. Kostadine, 24, is in his fourth professional season and had three points (1g-2a) and 64 penalty minutes in 32 games with the Augusta Lynx, who released him on Friday. The St. Louis native has 37 points (15g-22a) and 541 PIM in 195 career games, all in the ECHL.
