Ice Pilots to Host First Annual Pink in the Rink Night

PENSACOLA, FL - The Ice Pilots are teaming up with Santa Rosa Medical Center for the first annual "Pink in the Rink" night on Saturday, January 19 to help raise money for breast cancer research and prevention. The Ice Pilots will don pink jerseys for their game against the Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m. These jerseys will be going up for bids during a live auction following the game with the net proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

"We are pleased as an organization to be able to do our part for breast cancer awareness and help support the cause," said Ice Pilots President Greg Schuh. "This is an important issue not only in our community but nationally as well. We invite everyone to come to the Ice Pilots game that night and be a part of our special night of activities. With everyone's support, we can make a difference."

Tickets for groups of 15 or more are just $9 and net proceeds from raffles and promotions held throughout the night will also benefit the American Cancer Society.

Restaurant Row will also make its debut following the game. Fans will have the opportunity to sample tastings from some of Pensacola's eateries prior to the live auction.

Don't miss the hard hitting, exciting action, as the Ice Pilots' next home game is Saturday, January 19 at 7:05 p.m. vs. Florida at the Civic Center. It's Pink in the Rink Night as the Ice Pilots will be wearing pink jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game! The net proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
