WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Edmonton Oilers have recalled left wing Patrick Thoresen from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced on Monday.
Thoresen, 23, has recorded six points (1+5) and is plus-5 in five games with the Penguins, during two assignments from Edmonton. The native of Oslo, Norway, also has 10 points (2+8) and 37 penalty minutes in 43 games with the Oilers this season.
Thoresen was signed as a free agent by Edmonton on May 31, 2006.
