The Pirates return home from their five game road trip on Sunday, February 18th as they host the Worcester Sharks 4:05 p.m. Sunday will be Go Red with the Pirates and KeyBank. Join the Pirates, KeyBank and the American Heart Association in their fight against heart disease. Everyone is encouraged to wear red to the game and the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive Go Red T-Shirts! For more information on how you can support the cause, click here. Plus on Sunday the Unum Challenge will continue with the season series currently tied at 3-3.

Evening with the Pirates
Tuesday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
The Portland Pirates Foundation is pleased to announce the 2007 Evening with the Pirates - A Night of Grog, Grub & Games. Join the Portland Pirates team for an evening of silent and live auctions, gaming (for entertainment only), host comedian George Hamm, live buccaneer music from the Crow's Nest, magic by the Steelegraves, a treasure chest raffle with lots of booty, plenty of grog from Pepsi and Gritty McDuff's, grub from some of downtown Portland's finest galleys, and Pieces of Eight for the best Pirate costume! SUBWAY "Pirate for a Day" Contest
The Pirates are now accepting entries for the "Pirate for a Day" Contest. Fans have the chance to record a :15 video entry as to why they deserve to be a Pirate for a day. The person with the best entry will win a hockey salary for a day, accommodations at Holiday Inn By the Bay the night before the game, dinner the night before the game, a pre-game meal at SUBWAY® restaurants, a customized authentic Pirates jersey, an autographed hockey stick, seat next to the back-up goalie during the game, be a guest radio commentator with the "Voice of the Pirates" Greg Glynn, player meet-and-greet, locker room tour and much, much more. "Day of Hockey" on February 25th
"A Day of Hockey" will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at the Cumberland County Civic Center. The event, made possible by the Portland Pirates Foundation, is being held to raise awareness and funds for The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical Center. It will include the Portland Pirates game against the Lowell Devils, as well as many other hockey events including: Salty Pete's "Skate for the Kids," The 3rd Annual Clash of the Classes High School Boys Hockey game (Cape Elizabeth vs. Cheverus), Girls High School Hockey game, Broomball (Local media vs. Barbara Bush Children's Hospital staff), Youth Hockey events and much, much more.
