Canucks Re-Assign Edler to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have re-assigned defenceman Alex Edler to the Moose.

Edler, 20, has played in 18 games so far in his rookie season with the Canucks. He scored his first NHL goal on Nov. 30/06 vs. Anaheim and collected his first NHL assist on Nov. 6/06 vs. Dallas. He also has six penalty minutes with Vancouver. This was Edler's third recall to the Canucks this season. In 29 games so far this year with the Moose, the native of Ostersund, SWE has four goals and 13 assists for 17 points and 14 penalty minutes.
