Worcester Sharks News Release
WORCESTER - The Worcester Sharks would like to thank all their fans who participated in the Worcester Sharks Blood Drive at the American Red Cross Blood Donor Center.
A total of 214 Sharks fans went to the Donor Center to donate blood over the three dates (Tuesday 2/6, Thursday 2/8, and Saturday 2/10). Each fan who gave blood was given two Sharks tickets to a future home game for their generosity.
A total of 197 pints of blood were collected. Each pint of blood can help up to three different hospital patients, netting a total of 591 lives which potentially benefited from the drive. This is a 30 percent increase from the Worcester Donor Center's regular weekly average!

To schedule your appointment to donate or for more information, please call the American Red Cross today at (800) GIVE LIFE (800) 448-3543.
The Sharks next home game at the DCU Center will be on February 23 against the Portland Pirates at 7:00 p.m. It's GO RED NIGHT with the American Heart Association to help increase awareness in heart disease and stroke in woman.
