
Storm Set to Open 2003-04 Training Camp

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today the 2003-2004 training camp schedule. The Toledo Storm begin their defense of the 2002-2003 Brabham Cup Championship with this seasons training camp which will open with the first On-Ice session beginning Monday October 6th at Tam-O-Shanter.
The Toledo Storm opens the 2003-04 season on October 17th at home vs. Johnstown. In preparation for the start of the new campaign, the Toledo Storm will play 2 pre-season contests. The Storm will host Dayton in it's first pre-season game on Friday October 10,2003, and then they will travel to Cincinnati on Sunday October 12th for the second game. The annual Red and White game is scheduled for 7pm on Wednesday October 8th.
Mike Miller, Vice President and General Manager, said about the schedule "As training camps open, that rush of excitement about the upcoming season builds. Training camp is used to help the coaching staff decide on the roster for the new campaign. It also symbolizes the start of a new year as we get ready for opening night October 17th.
The Toledo Storm training camp schedule is listed below through October 16, 2003. All practices will be held at the Toledo Sports Arena, with the exception of Monday October 6th,which will be held at Tam-O-Shanter.
