$5 Pre-Season Tickets Available on October 6th, Individual Game Tickets On Sale October 18th

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that tickets for their pre-season game against the Fort Wayne Komets will go on sale this Monday, October 6th at the Wings Stadium Box Office. The K-Wings also announce that single game tickets for the team's entire 2003-2004 home schedule will go on sale to the public Saturday, October 18th at 10 am.

The K-Wings only home pre-season game will be against their arch rivals the Fort Wayne Komets on Saturday, October 18th. Face-off at Wings Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 PM and all tickets for that game are only $5. Tickets will be available starting Monday, October 6th at the Wings Stadium Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, or by calling (269) 345-5101.

Regular season single game tickets for all K-Wings games will be available for purchase beginning on Saturday, October 18th. The K-Wings will play 38 regular season home games at Wings Stadium, including their home opener on Saturday, November 1st, at 7:30 PM against the Fort Wayne Komets.

Before the game, Stadium Management Company along with very special guests will unveil "A Lasting Wings Tradition", which is a walking trip down memory land focusing on photo collages delineating the chronological history of the Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings will be displayed throughout the main concourse of Wings Stadium. This exhibit will serve as a tribute to the rich tradition that the Wings Stadium Complex has had in southwest Michigan.

All fans entering Wings Stadium on November 1st will also receive a special Anniversary-themed Magnetic Game Schedule for the upcoming season courtesy of Meijer.

After the game, all members of the K-Wings team will be signing autographs at the Centennial Wireless Autograph Zone, which is located in the main concourse behind Section 12.

Wings Stadium, along with Cool 101 FM will also be hosting the "30th Anniversary Retro Fest 70's Dance" in The Annex. Any fan that purchases a ticket to the K-Wings game will be permitted into the dance FREE. Individuals that want to only attend the dance can purchase a COOL 101 30th Anniversary Retro Fest ticket for just $10.

Other marquee nights on the K-Wings schedule include the 2nd Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL-FM and WWMT TV3, as the K-Wings host the Muskegon Fury.

The Fury will also be part of another big event at Wings Stadium, as one of the most historic traditions in hockey continues Monday, March 17th, as the K-Wings host the Fury for the "World Famous" K-Wings St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game. This will be the 23rd season the K-Wings will play their traditional Green Ice classic.

Season ticket holders that have already purchased their season tickets can pick up their ticket packages starting Monday, October 13th at the Wings Stadium Box Office. The Kalamazoo Wings are also planning a special Season Ticket Holder Party on Wednesday, October 22nd at the Days Inn on Sprinkle Road. The party will occur from 6-8 PM. All season ticket holders are encouraged to attend this party, as it will be their first opportunity to meet the 2003-04 Kalamazoo Wings, as well as receive their special 30th Anniversary season ticket holder gift courtesy of the K-Wings.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $12-$7. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Box Office, or at any Ticket Master outlet.
