Steelheads Ink Czech All-Star

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads today announced they have signed 6'2", 210 lb., Czech defenseman Michael Vyhlidal (Vil-E-dal).
The 25-year-old played in the 2000-01 Czech All Star Game, and was nominated to play in 2002-03. Vyhlidal is an experienced player, having been on the rosters of several teams in the All Star Czech Extra League over a period of thirteen seasons. In total, he has seen action in 593 games, scoring 163 points (52 goals, 111 assists) and 246 penalty minutes.
Vyhlidal will report to the Steelheads' training camp on October 4th marking his first season in North America.
