
Stingrays Add Collegiate Champion Nick Tabisz

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that defenseman Nick Tabisz has signed with the team. In keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Tabisz, 23, comes to the Stingrays after completing a four-year career at St. Norbert College. While with the Green Knights, the Kettering, OH native acquired 37 goals and 61 assists for 98 points in 118 games. On Saturday, March 26, 2011, Tabisz netted the game-winning goal against Adrian in the NCAA Division III Men's Hockey national title game in Minneapolis, MN. Before joining the Knights, Tabisz spent two seasons with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL recording 33 points (20g, 13a) in 115 games.
The Stingrays wrap up the regular season with a three-game road series against the Florida Everblades starting today, Wednesday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Germain Arena.
