March 30, 2011 - ECHL (ECHL)
Idaho Steelheads News Release
(Boise, ID) - Forward Kael Mouillierat was one of six players named to the ECHL's All-Rookie Team on Wednesday.
Mouillierat is second on the team in goals (24), assists (35), and points (59) heading into Wednesday night's final home game of the regular season at Qwest Arena against the Utah Grizzlies. He also leads the team in plus/minus rating with a plus-10. Among ECHL rookies, the 23-year-old's 59 points are second behind Toledo's Andy Bohmback's 68.
Here's the complete ECHL All-Rookie Team:
Forwards: Kael Mouillierat (Idaho), Andy Bohmback (Toledo), Ben Street (Wheeling)
Defensemen: Mark Isherwood (Alaska), Bobby Raymond (Florida)
Goaltender: Brian Stewart (Bakersfield)
Mouillierat made his professional debut with the Steelheads at the end of the 2009-2010 season, scoring a goal in his first professional game. He was selected for the ECHL All-Star game earlier this season.
It's the second consecutive season Idaho has been represented on the All-Rookie Team. Forward Evan Barlow and goaltender Richard Bachman were each selected last season. The only other Steelhead to ever be selected for the All-Rookie team was goaltender Frank Doyle in 2005.
The ECHL's Kelly Cup Playoffs are right around the corner and the Idaho Steelheads are out to defend their conference title from last season. Fans can lock in their favorite seat for every possible home playoff game while saving up to 35 percent off the walk-up prices with the "Pay as We Play" playoff ticket plan.
