Jackals Receive Four from B-Sens

The Elmira Jackals announced on Wednesday that they have received four players from their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Defenseman R.J. Anderson has been returned to Elmira from his loan to Binghamton while forwards Jason Bailey, Corey Cowick, and Mike Hoffman have been reassigned to the Jackals from Binghamton by the NHL's Ottawa Senators.

Bailey has two goals and an assist for three points in seven games with the Jackals this season. The third-year pro from Nepean, Ontario has two goals and 31 penalty minutes in 37 games with the B-Sens in 2010-2011.

Cowick has posted five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 30 games with Elmira in the 2010-2011 season, his rookie campaign. The native of Gloucester, Ontario has a goal and three assists for four points with the B-Sens this season.

Hoffman, last season's QMJHL Player of the Year, has recorded three assists in three games for the Jackals and has 23 points (7g-16a) in 69 games with Binghamton in his rookie season of 2010-2011.

Anderson has 39 points (7g-32a) in 59 games with the Jackals this season and has an assist in seven AHL games this season, three with Binghamton and four with Lake Erie.

The Jackals also announced that they have placed forward Vinny Geonnetti on waivers.
