K-Wings Wrap Up Regular Season This Week

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce the team will host their final two home games of the regular season this week.

Kalamazoo will begin the final week of the regular season later this morning, Wednesday, March 30th with the second of two Education Day games at Wings Stadium

versus the Cincinnati Cyclones. Face-off this Wednesday is slated for 10:30 a.m. and the game is presented by RxOptical, Bounceland, Edison Electric and Putter's Family Fun Center. Cincinnati enters the week in third place in the North Division, two points behind the second place Wheeling Nailers and four points in front of the Toledo Walleye. Wednesday's game versus the Cyclones will be the first sellout of the season for the K-Wings.

After finishing the road portion of their 2010-11 regular season this Friday, April 1st with a 7:30 p.m. encounter against Cincinnati at the U.S. Bank Arena, the K-Wings will return home this Saturday, April 2nd to conclude the regular season with a 7:30 p.m. versus the Elmira Jackals.

Saturday's contest will be another Saturday "Celebrity" Series featuring members of Kalamazoo and Portage Fire and Police Department. During the game, Harold Zeigler Automotive Group will announce the winner of a FREE 24-month lease of a 2011 Honda Civic, giveaway a trip for two from Direct Air and Kalsee Credit Union will have their annual cash drop. After the game, the K-Wings will announce the fan-voted player awards and Slappy jersey auction.

Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
