
Stars And Admirals To Meet In Opening Round Of Playoffs

Cedar Park, TX - The Texas Stars, in conjunction with the Milwaukee Admirals and the American Hockey league, announced on Sunday the schedule for the opening round of the 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs.
West Division Semifinal (best of seven) Texas and Milwaukee Game 1: Texas at Milwaukee on Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 PM Game 2: Texas at Milwaukee on Saturday, April 16 at 7:00 PM Game 3: Milwaukee at Texas on Tuesday, April 19 at 7:30 PM Game 4: Milwaukee at Texas on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:30 PM Game 5: Milwaukee at Texas on Friday, April 22 at 7:30 PM - X *Game 6: Texas at Milwaukee on Monday, April 25 at 7:00 PM -X *Game 7: Texas at Milwaukee on Tuesday, April 26 at 7:00 PM -X X - If Necessary
Texas finished the regular season as the four seed in the West Division and will meet the West Division regular season winners in the Milwaukee Admirals. The Stars went 5-1-0-0 against the Admirals this season. Texas opens the series with the first two games of the series at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee on Thursday and Saturday night. Texas will host Game 3 on Tuesday, April 19th at 7:30 PM and Game 4 on Wednesday, April 20th at 7:30 PM at Cedar Park Center. If needed, Game 5 is Friday, April 22nd at 7:30 PM at Cedar Park Center. The best of seven series shifts to Milwaukee for Game 6 and Game 7 if needed.
