
Moose, Monsters Announce Dates & Times For North Division Semi-Final

With the 2010-11 regular season coming to a close today, the Manitoba Moose are pleased to announce the dates and times for their upcoming Calder Cup North Division Semi-Final against the Lake Erie Monsters.
The Moose finished the regular season with a record of 43-30-1-6 and in third place in the North Division with 93 points. Manitoba will open up the best-of-seven Calder Cup opening playoff round against the second-place Lake Erie Monsters. The Moose and Monsters split their regular season series with two wins apiece as each team won a game in the other team's building. Manitoba and Lake Erie have not met in the postseason before as this season marks the Monsters' first-ever appearance in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Manitoba will be making their seventh consecutive playoff appearance dating back to 2005 and ninth in 10 seasons in the AHL.
The series will begin at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, OH, next Saturday at 11:00 am CT with Game 2 coming Sunday at 2:00 pm CT before shifting to Winnipeg for Games 3 to 5 at MTS Centre on Tuesday, April 19th, Thursday, April 21st, and Friday, April 22th, if necessary. All games in Winnipeg will begin at 7:30 pm CT. The two teams then head back to Cleveland for Games 6 & 7 if necessary on Sunday, April 24th at 3:00 pm CT and Tuesday, April 26th at 6:00 pm CT.
