Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
LAST WEEK: The Pride went 1-2-0 last week, losing to South Carolina and Columbia before rebounding with a win against Charlotte. Pee Dee is 11-6-0 for 22 points, and tied with Columbia for second place in the Southeast Division. The Pride trail first-place South Carolina by two points, with one game in hand.
Tuesday, November 19 @ S. Carolina Stingrays 4 PRIDE 3
The Pride struck first just 1:26 into the game on a Mike Glumac goal. But, the Stingrays would score twice before the end of the period for a 2-1 lead. Again, the Pride scored early in the second, but South Carolina went back ahead a minute later. Mike Torney's goal 9:04 into the final period tied it up, and it appeared the game would head for overtime. But South Carolina's Dave Seitz scored with just 1:17 left in regulation, giving the Stingrays the victory.
Friday, November 22 v. Columbia Inferno 4 PRIDE 1
After a scoreless first period, Greg Schmidt gave the Pride a 1-0 lead 4:17 into the second period, a lead they took into the third period. The Inferno would come to life in the third period, scoring three times in a 3:59 span to take a 3-1 lead. Rejean Stringer added an empty-net tally in the final minute to set the final.
Saturday, November 23 @ Charlotte PRIDE 6 Checkers 4
Former Pride player Vince Malts scored a power-play goal 1:50 into the third period giving Charlotte a 3-1 lead, and putting the Pride on the brink of dropping their third straight. But, after that the Pride exploded. Gregor Krajnc scored his first of the year at 3:45 making it 3-2. Allan Sirois tied it at 3 with a goal at the 6:47 mark. Thirteen seconds later, Mike Glumac gave the Pride the lead. Just 21 seconds after that, Glumac scored again giving the Pride a two-goal advantage. Charlotte pulled back within one a Kurt Seher goal at the 12:58 mark, but a Matt Reid empty netter, his fourth point of the night, with five seconds left preserved the victory.

The Pride make their first visit of the season to the Carolina Coliseum. The two teams have split the first two meetings this season. Columbia is tied with the Pride for second place in the Southeast with 22 points, two behind division-leading South Carolina.
Friday, November 29 @ Florida 7:30 p.m. Coverage on Sunny 105.5 at 7:10
Pee Dee and Florida meet for the fifth time this season. The Pride are 3-1-0 against the Everblades so far this season. Matt Reid leads the Pride with seven points in four games against the Everblades. Florida enters the week with a 7-4-5 record for 19 points, and is in fifth place in the Southeast Division.

The Pride play their final game of the regular season at TECO Arena.
OTHER NOTES
SIROIS NEARS MILESTONE
Pride captain Allan Sirois enters this week on the verge of a milestone. Sirois has 398 career ECHL points, leaving him just two points shy of reaching 400.
ONE HOT TRIO
The line of Mike Glumac, Matt Reid and Greg Schmidt continues to put up impressive numbers. The threesome totaled six goals and eight assists in the Pride's three games last week. For the season, the three are the Pride's top three scorers and have combined for 25 goals and 50 assists for 75 points and are a plus-60. Glumac carries a seven-game point streak into the week. During the course of his streak he has six goals and five assists for 11 points. Reid has at least one point 15 of the Pride's 17 games this season.
