GLENS FALLS, NY - Eamon McAdam made 38 saves, James Henry and Matt Salhany each recorded four points as the Thunder snapped their 11 game winless streak with a 6-2 victory over the Reading Royals on Saturday night.

The Thunder's offense got to work quickly, scoring two goals in the first period both on the powerplay. Matt Salhany picked up his tenth of the season at 4:47 assisted by Jake Linhart and Charlie Curti and James Henry followed up at the 10:20 mark to make it 2-0. Matt Salhany and Mike Szmatula were credited with the assists.

Adirondack found three more goals in the second period. Another one from James Henry (Gabriel Verpaelst, Matt Salhany) at 8:09 made it 3-0. Casey Pierro-Zabotel tacked on his 14th of the season for the four-goal advantage at 13:28. Matt Salhany and James Henry got the helpers.

Mike Szmatula scored for the sixth straight game, tacking on a powerplay goal at the 17:57 mark of the second period. Szmatula's wrist shot beat Royals' netminder Felix Sandstrom as Salhany and Henry once again were on the scoresheet with the apples.

The sixth and final Adirondack goal came 2:39 into the third period. Ludvig Larsson, assigned earlier in the day by the Binghamton Devils, drove to the net for his first ECHL goal after an Ara Nazarian set up.

The Royals scored two goals in the 10:07 of the third period, one belonging to Trevor Gooch and the other to Garrett Mitchell to make it 6-2.

Adirondack's man-advantage went 3-for-3 and the penalty kill went 2-for-3.
