Edmonton, Alberta - With a 11th round pick 226th overall, the Regina Pats have selected defenceman Sean Whelan from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
With the Moose Jaw Toyota Warriors last season, Whelan amassed 32 points in 26 games.
