Edmonton, Alberta - The Regina Pats completed the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft and selected 11 players in total. 7 of the 11 picks hail from Saskatchewan, with 3 from Manitoba and one American player.

The Pats selected 7 defencemen, 3 forwards and one goaltender.

There was a pair of trades this afternoon, the first saw the Pats acquire the 208th overall pick from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for the Pats 10th round pick in 2010.

The other deal had the Pats sending forward Neal Prokop to the Tri-City Americans in exchange for forward Jason Gardiner.
