The annual WHL Bantam Draft took place in Edmonton Thursday.

Head Scout and Director of Player Personnel Jamie Porter is happy with the selections: "Our philosophy is that we want to be a team that skates as well as possible. We see that in our players selected. The forwards selected are speedy and skilled and the defensemen are mobile and move the puck well. The goaltender we selected is a kid we've had an eye on all season long. We wanted to add depth at all positions and take the best players available."
