Blades Select Tommy Stipancik in Round 3

The Saskatoon Blades, in the 3rd round, have selected Tommy Stipancik with their 60th overall selection. This selection came from the Spokane Chiefs from the 2008 trade involving Justin McCrae.

Stipancik, a 6'0", 155 pound defenseman was born in Vancouver, B.C on September 10th, 1994.

"Tommy is a big defenseman who can skate. He is very poised with the puck and makes smart decisions on the ice" commented Blades Assistant GM Jarrod Brodsky.

The Saskatoon Blades are proud to welcome Tommy Stipancik and his family to the organization.
