Today's Game: The OKC Dodgers and Round Rock Express close out their weather-abbreviated series with a 7:05 p.m. game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on a $2 Thursday. Round Rock swept a Wednesday doubleheader after the first two games of the series were postponed due to rain...The Dodgers are down 0-2 in a series for the third straight time.

Yesterday's Games: The Express swept both games of a Wednesday doubleheader against the Dodgers on a Field Trip Day at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, winning the first game, 12-5, and taking the second game, 9-3. The Express came back to win the first game after OKC built a 5-0 lead in the first inning. Back-to-back RBI triples by Will Smith and Edwin RÃ-os put the Dodgers in front, 2-0. Paulo Orlando's RBI double boosted the Dodgers lead before another run scored on a wild pitch. Angelo Mora grounded into a double play to bring home another run for a 5-0 lead. But Round Rock took a 6-5 lead in the third inning. A two-run single by Derek Fisher and three straight RBI singles by Myles Straw, Yordan Alvarez and Taylor Jones knotted the game at 5-5 before Drew Ferguson drew a bases-loaded walk for the lead. Fisher led off the fourth with a solo homer and Alvarez added a RBI double. A two-run single by Ferguson pushed Round Rock's lead to 10-5. RBI doubles by Alvarez and Alex De Goti boosted the lead to 12-5. Dodgers starting pitcher Ben Holmes (0-3) was charged with the loss, while Akeem Bostick (2-0) picked up the win...In Game 2, the Express quickly grabbed a 7-0 lead in the first inning. With the bases loaded, Alvarez hit a RBI single before the Express added runs on an error, a sacrifice fly and grand slam by De Goti. RÃ-os' RBI single in the bottom of the first inning brought in a run for OKC. Alvarez hit a two-run homer in the second inning to push Round Rock's lead to 9-1. The Dodgers scored two runs in the fifth on three straight hits, including a RBI triple by Mora and RBI single by Errol Robinson. Express starting pitcher Ryan Hartman (3-0) got the win while Justin DeFratus (0-1) was charged with the loss, allowing six runs (five earned) over one-third of an inning with four walks. He was ejected by home plate umpire Edwin Moscoso in the first inning.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Michael Bowden makes his first start with the Dodgers tonight after joining the team from Extended Spring Training...Bowden signed with the Dodgers as a minor league free agent March 4. He did not play during the 2018 season due to injury, but spent the previous two seasons with the Doosan Bears of the Korean Baseball Organization where he posted a 21-12 record over 47 starts from 2016-17. He struck out 211 batters and issued 92 walks over 267.1 innings...Bowden last played in the United States in 2015 with Triple-A Norfolk (Orioles) where he was named a Mid-Season All-Star and with Triple-A Rochester (Twins)...Bowden has appeared in 103 Major League games, including 69 with Boston and 34 with the Chicago Cubs. He made his ML debut Aug. 30, 2008 with the Red Sox, allowing two runs and seven hits over 5.0 innings in a win against the Chicago White Sox...Bowden was originally selected by Boston in the first round of the 2005 MLB Draft as a compensatory pick out of Waubonsie Valley High School (Illinois)...Tonight will be Bowden's first appearance against the Express since making five relief outings for the Iowa Cubs between the 2012-13 seasons.

Against the Express: 2019: 0-2 2018: 10-6 All-time: 124-100 At OKC: 59-54 The Dodgers and Express are meeting for the first of four series between the teams this season...Round Rock is again the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros after spending the 2011-18 seasons as the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The Express previously served as the Astros' Double-A affiliate from 2000-2004 and Triple-A affiliate from 2005-10...OKC won the 2018 season series between the teams, 10-6, and has now won four straight season series against the Express...The teams split their eight games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in 2018, with the Dodgers winning the first three games as part of the team's 15-game home win streak...OKC closed out the season series between the teams with three straight victories at Dell Diamond in July 2018...Alex Verdugo compiled a team-leading 16 hits and 12 RBI in the 2018 season series against the Express, while Tim Locastro scored 17 runs and had 14 hits...The Dodgers batted .306 overall and outscored Round Rock, 105-86.

Behind Enemy Lines: Round Rock manager Mickey Storey made 61 appearances for the OKC RedHawks between the 2011-12 seasons. He also briefly pitched in the Dodgers organization in 2015, making four starts for Double-A Tulsa...OKC hitting coach Scott Coolbaugh was Round Rock's hitting coach for part of the 2011 season and the entire 2013 season.

Mayday: With Wednesday's two losses against the Express, the Dodgers have now been swept in two doubleheaders in the span of a week. Oklahoma City has lost six of the last seven games overall, as well as 11 of its last 13 games and 14 of its last 17 games...The Dodgers are now 4-10 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark this season, with losses in seven of the last eight. In 2018, they didn't lose their 10th home game until June 26 (27-10)...OKC finished the first month of the season with a losing record (8-15) for just the sixth time since OKC re-joined the PCL in 1998 and the first time in since 2011. Only twice has the team recovered from a losing April reach the playoffs...The team is nine games below .500 for the first time since Aug. 27, 2011 (63-72). Between 2012-18, there were only four instances the team was as many as three games below .500 at any point of a season.

POW-lo: Paulo Orlando went a combined 3-for-4 with three doubles, a RBI, walk, HBP and two runs scored over Wednesday's doubleheader. In his last three games, Orlando is 6-for-8 with three runs scored, raising his season batting average by 79 points. He finished Sunday's game in San Antonio with three hits for his first multi-hit game of 2019 and highest single-game hit total since June 5, 2018 with Omaha against El Paso.

Trend Breakers: The Dodgers scored six of their eight total runs yesterday in the first inning, including a five-run rally in Game 1. Entering Wednesday, the team had scored a total of six runs in the first inning this season, and Round Rock had allowed just five runs in the first inning...The Dodgers totaled six extra-base hits yesterday, including four in Game 1. They had four extra-base hits total in the previous four games combined. The team also collected three triples, doubling its season total in that category...The Dodgers were 5-for-16 with runners in scoring position yesterday after going 4-for-34 with RISP over their five-game series in San Antonio.

Shagadelic!: Reliever JT Chargois pitched two more scoreless innings Wednesday, and over his last six outings he's totaled 9.0 scoreless frames. Opponents are 7-for-33 during the stretch with 13 strikeouts.

Quiet Riot: The Dodgers were outscored, 21-8, and outhit, 24-10, over 14 innings in Wednesday's doubleheader. The Dodgers have now been held to six hits or less in eight of their last 10 games. Over the last seven games, the Dodgers are batting .186 (36x194) with 18 runs, 12 extra-base hits and two home runs...The Dodgers' five runs scored in Game 1 of yesterday's doubleheader marked their highest single-game total in six games, but the Dodgers scored just three runs in Game 2, marking the 14th time this season Oklahoma City has been held to three runs or less in a game...The Dodgers' 96 runs, 183 hits and 16 home runs are all the fewest in the 16-team PCL. Fourteen of the other 15 teams in the league have hit at least 27 homers, and OKC has not gone deep in five of the last six games.
